Bal Sanskar Kendra

DBPM realized that the exposure to education other than formal school education is necessary for young children living in the villages/ hamlets. The atmosphere in the family is not conducive to contemporary value education as the parents and other family members are not exposed to the modern education. There are no pres-schooling education facilities available in Pardhi villages. The anganwadis run by government focus mainly on nourishment and health. Value education content is almost missing from them. Considering importance of informal education which covers values of modern society, A local girl with regular training and nominal remuneration runs activities of the Samskar Kendra.  The kendras are run on all week days in the courtyard of house of the Kendra pramukh. They are run mostly in the late afternoon. Children in the age group of three to seven years participate in these samskar kendras.   Field supervisors of DBPM regularly visit these kendras.
