Water shed Project

Help needy, marginal farmers in drought affected areas, adopt rainwater harvesting techniques so they have a sustainable means of irrigation water throughout the year.

 Two check-dams constructed at Borisinh village of Yavatmal block. Farmers from the village largely benefited by this activity. Save Indian Farmers, USA Assisted to this project.

At the same time Rain Water Harvesting System developed in the village Bendoli of Nagpur district in association with Jankalyankari Samiti, Nagpur. This has resulted in increase in the water level of wells and irrigation of the farms.  

We also excavate & desilte of Nilona reservoir, Yavatmal every year for increasing water storage capacity of the reservoir.  At the same time we also have given the financial assistance to 3 villages under “Pani Foundation Project”
