Mr. Vijay Purushottam Kadre, a retired Section Engineer from the Water Conservation Department, Government of Maharashtra, has been associated with Deendayal Seva Pratishthan since its inception. With unwavering dedication, he has been instrumental in the “Swayamsiddha” project, empowering women farmers affected by farmer suicides to regain independence and rebuild their lives.
Beyond his organizational contributions, Mr. Kadre has actively participated in numerous social initiatives, supporting underprivileged and rural students in completing their education and shaping a better future for them.
Currently serving as the Secretary of the organization, he continues to focus on projects that combine sustainable, low-cost farming practices with social welfare, striving to prevent farmer suicides and uplift rural communities. His commitment and leadership remain a guiding force behind the organization’s mission.
