Deendayal Prabodhini, Nilona

Deendayal Prabodhini has been established  for development of variuos practices under natural farming, demonstrating the successful experiments and training the farmers for adopting them.  Deendayal Prabodhini is located at village Nilona near Yavatmal town. It sprawls on 35 acres of land with modern, well equipped training facilities including residential accomodation for trainees. Activities in this Agriculture 

Research and Training Center :-

• Training Facilities with capacity of  500 trainees 
• Residential Arrangement of 200 trainees
• Research plots of various  experiments in natural farming 
• Measures for in-situ water conservation 
• Demonstration of Agro based activities 
• Research on regenerative natural farming
• Rearing of Desi breed cows for milk, cowdung and cow urine
• The training Facilities are also made available for conduct of training programmes, work shops by other institutions, Govt. Agencies 

Agriculture Research and Training Sub-Centers

With a view to extending outreach of DDSP three sub-centers have been established at remote places in Yavatmal and Washim districts. The activities conducted at Deendayal Prabodhini, Nilona are undertaken on smaller scale at these sub-centers.
