Desilting of water body and depositing silt in farm land
DDSP constructed two check-dams at Borisinh village of Yavatmal block. Farmers from the village largely benefited by this storage and percolation of water and improved recharge of wells. Save Indian Farmers, USA Assisted to this project.
Rain Water Harvesting System was developed in the village Bendoli of Nagpur district in association with Jankalyankari Samiti, Nagpur. This has resulted in increase in the water level of wells and irrigation of the farms.
